Dinner with the girls

This is always the most interesting part of our day, mostly for what comes out of the girls mouths.
Shelby “Daddy, are their invisible men?”
Lily “No silly, there are no invisible men!”
Lily “Well, if they have invisible spray then they can be invisible.”
Dan “Well, how can he get invisible spray if he can’t see it.”
Lily “Duh, dad. He goes to the store and buys it!”

Yup, it really never is a dull moment at our house. -Wendy

Post Wide Yard Sale Today!!

Oh my! What a day that started at 6am and ended for me at 2:00. The girls set up their stuff and a soda and candy stand. They made $23.00 and then 40.00 off the soda & candy stand! So 63.00 total for the girls and of course $5.00 went to the ice cream man when he came around today at 4.
We did good $550.00 mostly in scrapbook stuff. I'm so tired I think I'm heading up for a nap! I will post some recent pictures up of the girls tomorrow. Loves, wendy

Job Interview

Today I went for my job interview at The Scrapbook Page in KS. Very excited, this is a large very nice store has been published in the top spot to shop at scrapbook magazines. I entered the store met the husband and wife who owned it, sat down and “so you’re at Ft. Leavenworth?” Yes, and we are only here until Dec. I responded. Oh, well I guess the interview is over we are looking for someone to work 3-4 years or longer with us. So what is it that your husband does in the Army? Is he deployed? Is he heading to Iraq? How does he like Ft. Leavenworth?
Needless to say my job interview was over before it started. I bought some glue and went home. We should have our orders by tomorrow sometime.

Or Dan by himself in Korea.

The girls had an excellent day at school today. Shelby’s soccer meeting is tonight at 5pm and Lily’s cheerleading is Thursday night at 5pm. I’ve got 4 orders of Army paper bag books to do so I will be working on those and the tooth fairy boxes that I sold over the week. This weekend should be GREAT, Saturday is our Post wide yard sale. Paid $11.00 and got our permit today for it. I will be doing this myself, Dan has college class Friday night and all day Saturday…. JOY…
